For that money I doubt it's worth replacing them as a preventive. If you get over $500 in parts then I would consider getting a
reworked valve body from someone like Wholesale Automatics. Not because you'll actually need one but because they sound great and no one on the board has run one.
I would really like to see what, if anything, is in the strainer and what the screen or material inside is.
I wouldn't bother with the AT manual. The FSM and the PDF you have have almost everything relevant.
