Wiper blade size
I need to know the size of the factory wiper blades on a 1999 LC, and is the driver and passenger wipers of different sizes, also what size is the rear wiper, I am thinking of replacing the complete assy. with Bosch.

On my 04 - 22in and 24in. Keep the assembly from Toyota incase you want to go back to Toyota blades only— if you pitch the whole thing and have to buy the whole assembly from Toyota it is around $60.00. Also the Bosch blades are good, but are a soft rubber compound (compared to other blades I have tried) and when they wear out in 6 months they start streaking really bad almost with no warning.

Also, most auto parts stores and even Target and Walmart have reference guides in the wiper blade/refill section that you can look up any vehicle's size.

I'd do a search and prove that those sections have simple no tech questions too...
,but being a hundy guy my searching powers are weak.
What blows my mind is that anthonycds anticipated this question and spec-built a multimedia answer !

Proof shows my searching powers don't even exist.
I never would of thought to take a picture like that. I might start though.

just google or call the damn dealerships. finding a wiper size isnt a hard task... which reminds me. i gotta get a new rear wiper. Finding the right size evidently is, I was first told by a local O Rileys parts store they were 18 both sides they even looked them up on their computer, then some references have them listed as 24 and 22 inch, come to find out the correct size is 20 on both sides and 16 in the rear on the 98 and 99 models. Wipers may not seem to be very inportant to some but they are to me and I want the correct size, im that way, just like I will only use OEM or Wix filters and michelin tires and only drive Toyotas.

get the piaa silicone blades. best i have ever had. i still have the trial pair of silblades on my truck and they suck ass compared to the piaa. piaa silicone creates a coating on the windshield like rainex and it is insane...only blades to go with hands down.

I use my 100 for highway travel thats why I run Michelin LTX M/S tires when I get ready to get a trail dedicated rig I will put BF Goodrich tires on it which I believe are owned by Michelin. I dont care for the factory toyota filters because I have seen them made by three different countries Thailand, USA, and Japan. I am 40 years old, but sorry I am married.

I used all oem parts on drivetrain components. Anything else I replace I go aftermarket.
I hated the michelins so bad. My truck was out of alignment, tires weren't even balanced. Plus they wereflat spotted cause of a slide.
Bu tany way.
Next time around, you should throw some 285 nitto's and everybody will be happy.
And for a highway vehicle. Look no further that the 100 series ( maybe the 200 now )

FYI - you may find that 16 doesn't work. I put both an OEM and aftermarket 16 on my 99 and the last ~1" of the blade hits the molding at the top of the window. I decreased the wiper size to 15 and it works fine now. I haven't figured out why this is the case yet.

You must not have read much about oil filters then. Wix created the spin on filter, make a bunch of them and only stick the "Wix" brand on their premium line.

I don't think any of the 100 series OEM filters have been made in the USA but I opened the Thai-made OEM Toyota filter and was impressed by the construction.
