cruiser sighting, I80 sacramento 7/1
Ever since purchasing our hundy, I find myself spotting them on the road a lot more, but 99.9% of them are stock. Today, I encountered a sweet hundy on my way home from work and was wondering who's it was. I figure you'd be a Mud member because of all the badass toys you had on it. This sighting would be at around 5pm on I-80 in Natomas near Truxel overpass during rush hour traffic.
I was lane splitting on my black, naked SV650 when I saw you. I tried going by you as slow as I could to check your hundy out, but you kept backing off and I couldn't get enough viewing time in You were also on your cell phone......
Hundy was a bronze (I think...I'm colorblind), was pulling a trailer, lifted, had a black Slee rear bumper w/swingout and hi-lift, front had a black steel bumper (TJM I think, or an ARB w/o the bar), I believe it had personalized plates.
So yeah, I was just wondering what the specs are of your rig because I really liked it and I think if the sees one without me pulling her over to the computer, she just *might* let me start spending $.

California plates or Nevada plates?
If it was an offroad trailer with Nevada plates, it might have been Spressomon.

Damn...caught again . That's it: I'm getting it painted white .
Yeah...I keep forgetting CA and the no-cell phone to the ear law I think that was about the same time the chp'r went past me. I got a warning on the way down for doing 70 with a trailer...and not being in the left lane (Duh: I was passing ) through Auburn area so I was taking it easier on the way back. But he was a nice guy and let me go with a warning. We saw more CHP and Sheriff's out this time than any other time. Must be trying to raise cash .

sweet. i had thought it was your rig because i thought the plates said 'spresso' or something of that nature, but when i got home and looked at your pics i saw standard plates. anyways, nice rig man. i really liked the stance it had with the 35s. pics can only do so much until you see one in person. i WAS gonna get some 33s for my next tire at the end of summer, but now I'm thinking, "why stop half-way? might as well go for what i'm eventually gonna get". now I just need to save up some extra dough to drop on ARBs, and gears. then it's time to invest in a tig welder because I think all my armor is going to be custom since i've got a 93 pickup that needs some lovin' as well and I'll definitely be broke if I buy all pre-fabbed items.
yeah, you've gotta watch out for them pesky CHPs and Sheriffs out here. Money is tight and they're doing everything they can to rake in more money. couple months ago i got pulled over for doing 70 in a 65 on hwy50 coming home from Tahoe; the judge just laughed and let me go - good thing because 5mph over was a $215 ticket. every 5mph more at least another $100 tacked on. then 2 weeks later, I got pulled over for not using my turn signal on my motorcycle when i switched lanes on I80 in Davis on my way to work. i hear the cellphone ticket is not cheap, either.
anyways, thanks. peace.
