No Navigation!

A few days ago I saw someone say that the 100 was never sold in the US without navigation system. While it might be very rare, I found an example of a 100 without navigation:

Do any OEM navigation systems fit in the 98-03 (?) 100s from the newer model 100s that came factory with nav?

These non nav trucks actually have me considering a newer 100 vs waiting for a 200. I would really like the 5 speed and more hp. They are asking a crazy price for that bad boy.

They fit, both are double DIN. But wiring is a different story. With both wiring diagrams you could probably sort it out, but it'd take some time.

Even the '07's have tape decks... at least the one sitting at the local Toyota dealership had one.

I have a 2003, no navigation, no roof rack, no running boards, and a receiver hitch in the middle of the rear bumper. It is a "stripped" model.

There is an '05 with 42K at a nearby toy dealership and they are asking "38,500 too. Not even CPO (like THAT means anything on a Toyota). Waaaaay to high..But it does have NAV !!

I bitched and moaned about the 100 still having a tape deck in a thread about a year ago...I couldn't believe the replies that were pro for the tape player !! Comments like "books on tape are great for long trips!" Good Lord, I have tons of tapes left over from the '80s but I really don't have any desire to use them though ! Hello..CD's anyone..Music downloads, etc.. I was really surprised, to say the least. I would have personally rather had a single slot CD where the antiquated cassette player was..Especially on 100's w factory NAV.

Many of the Land Cruiser 100 series from 98-02 did not have navigation.

You can still get the 200 series without navigation if you order one or get very lucky with a find.

I would buy one with a tape deck. And then I would replace it with a decent nav/dvd system. Aftermarket stuff blows OEM out of the water.
