Couple of noob questions

I'm in the market for a Land Cruier.

My friend that works at the dealership says they have one, and he believes it has the rear locker switch. I'll know once I go check it out. Was the rear e-locker a very common option on the 99s or is it rare to find one with it?

Also,
Were heated seats an option on the '99s? Or is that something that came later.

Lastly,
Would you guys say the OME lift is the best bang for the buck? I had one on my 4runner, it was great - do they work well for the Land cruisers as well? What are the largest size tires you can run on a stock height/wheel land cruiser? 265s, 285s?

Welcome! The locker seems pretty common, more so than the 80 series, but I still saw some without it when I was shopping. If it has leather seats it has heated seats, not sure if it was available with the cloth seats, but the cloth is ultra-rare. And the OME lift is the ONLY bang you've got for the 100 in the US.

285's will fit, but it will be somewhat limiting as far as articulation goes. I had 285s for a year before putting the OME kit in - best mod for a 100 series by far.
