'03 GX470 right side mirror issue

I was cleaning the right side mirror and moved it in the process. I moved it back to where it was and now it only adjusts vertically. Any idea what happened without disassembly?

Probably simmilar to the 100 series/LX470. When you operate the switch, can you here the motor whirring? 2 motors as you would expect, they spin a thread which pushes/pulls the mirror, when it comes to the end it just ratchets or pops off, yours may hav popped off, the mirror unclips from the bottom and lifts up and out to unhook, you will be able to see the mechanism then. If you can here the motor spinning try pushing on the mirror to get it to engage, try the other direction if it doesn't. (You may have broken it though)
