Trim packers and shock top nuts

hey guys, i just installed an OME 866 HEAVY KIT over a month ago and i was wondering if possible to add 15 mm trim packers on each side of the rear springs to add more lift? if it's possible, where should i place the trim packers, top or bottom? i know the shock top nut is supposed 51 ft lb, .. since i don't have a torque wrench how can i tell if the shock top nut is tight enough?

thanks for the help...

If you are going to add trim packers you add them to the top of the coil.

Hmmm...estimating ft lbs...got me there.

I left the black coil trim on the coil and then just added the packers atop that...

Please keep in mind the experts prefer no packers. But I haven't had issues in running them on my rig over the past 3+ years of relatively hard off-road wheeling.

I've run trim packs for years as well. No issues though not as good as an all-spring setup. Keep the black rubber pad atop the trim packs.
