New Suspension Recommendation

I need to replace the suspension on my 00 100 with 143k miles. It is worn out. I do not intend (in the next 5 years) to add a winch bar, winch or rear bar. I would like a lift but I do not want to firm of a ride since this is my daily driver. I also do not intend to tow anything. I drive rather quickly. I carry between 3 and 7 passengers on occassion. The 7 passengers are mostly small children (not much weight).

This is what I am thinking.

OME865 Springs (Medium)
N133 (firm) or N100 (soft) or billies HDs for the front - This is where I need the input.
N101 (firm) or N101C (soft) or billie HDs for the rear - This is where I need the input
OME Front Torsion Bars (Part # 303001)
Slee Diff drop

What do you guys recommend? Has anyone used the soft (N101C or N100) OME shocks?

Also, I plan to switch to 255/85 R 16 at my next tire change ( I am not sure if that makes a difference or not).

Thanks for the insight,

uzj100

I think any springs other than OEM are going to give a stiff ride. The t-bars usually last much longer than coils. I bet if you replace your rear springs and all shocks, the ride will greatly improve. To my knowledge, all of the OME springs now give a lift; none give you stock height. OME used to make a stock height heavier spring set for the 80 series, but this was about 6 yrs ago.

It seems most feel the OME ride is improved over stock. I'd go with the firm setting shocks rather than risk body roll and slop with soft shocks.

Can I run toyota torsion bars with the slee diff drop and still get the lift in the front?

I am thinking

865s
N133
N101
slee diff drop
OME torsion bars

GREAT idea if you want the cushy ride!

Note: OME865 in rear WITH a factory bumper....with 5 full-size folks in there the 100 bottomed out here and there and was wallowy over the bumps often. Might want to stiffen up to 866?

With only 2 or 3 folks in there the 865's were awesome!
