Antenna relocation for snorkel installation?

I'm interested in installing a ARB snorkel on my 100 series, however I have heard that I will have to remove the automatic antenna. Is this neccessary, or could it just be relocated? What have others done when they installed there snorkels?

If I remember correctly, I only removed it for the install (to reach the bolt furthest to the rear). I have mine in place now with a snorkel and it works fine. I'm thinking you might have to take it from it's mounting point and let it hang freely while you fight with the last nut/bolt combo. Once you're done, it can be remounted in the original position.

BTW: I have a 2005, so it may be different for earlier models (doubt it, but maybe). If I can, I'll post up a few pics of the finished product. Sorry, I have none of the install because most of what I've done is "Old Hat" around here.
