bearing play in the transferbox rear housing

hi,

I have had vibrations under full load accelerations so I figured I would check if the rear driveshaft was over greased.
when the truck was in the air I grabbed the driveshaft and moved it up and down hard. I noticed it was possible to move the axle coming out of the transferbox vertically. The movement did not produce any sounds (clunking or clicking) . Could any of you tell me if a little play is normal.
The truck has done 185K miles.

Thanks in advance
Jesper

ps I halfway dropped the truck off the lift and bend a rocker and a running board . I should probably contact Slee and ask if he would consider shipping a pair of sliders across to Denmark.
