65 mph to zero truck stalls???

Need some input here. I may not have a problem, but just wanting some feedback. I have been working on some electrical stuff on my rig (adding an extra fuse bloc) and I always disconnect the battery when playing with wires. After disconnecting the battery I have noticed that now my truck will sometimes stall (completely die) when going from highway speeds to a complete stop when coming off an exit ramp to the stop light.

This is NOT the first time this has happed. It happed to me about 5 months ago when I disconnected the battery to do some other work. But after about 3 or 4 drive cycles the stalling does not occur again. My assumption is that the computer has reset and it is learning fuel mixtures again and it takes some time to get back to normal operations.

Does this theory make since? Has this happened to any of you? Could it be something else?

Thanks

Zane

That would be assumption too. I have never had this experience with my LX, but I had a 1997 Porsche 911 that did this. I had to go about 50 miles for the computer to re-map after battery disconnect. Until 50 miles, I stalled at every stop sign/light.

That's the symtoms of the problem with the converter of the pre 2001 HDJ-100, but afaik there isn't such a problem on the UZJ ?
I experience this whenever braking continuosly from above Lock-Up speed, particularly when cold (or less than fully warm).
