Just so you guys know..(Tail Light Converter)

On my 2001 LX470, the tail light converter is behind the rear drivers side kick panel. NOT on the passenger side, like the 80 series.

LX450Landcruiser and I found out the hard way today. Thinking it was in the same spot as the 80, and spent a good amount of time digging around the rear ac box, only to find nothing.

I changed the converter out with a isolated circuit converter, because of all the TSB about the converter failure.

Also, my box was red instead of black like the 80 series.

Just thought I would post this up, so no one else makes a bonehead move like we did today.

Cheers!
