ARB / Safari Snorkel for 100 - Wind Noise

I would like to install a snorkel on my 2006 LC and am curious about the amount of wind noise at highway speeds. I am not running agressive tires so my rig is still quiet at 75 mph. Can you advise how much noise, if any, the snorkel will add. Thank you!

Can't speak to the 100 , but on my 80 there was some. On the 80 the snork leaves a small gap between the snorkel body and the a-pillar, that would whistle sometimes.

I've only had my 100 with snorkel for a few weeks now - but there isn't any specific noise that I have noticed coming from the snorkel that is wind related. The only noise I hear is the growl of the V8 through it.... and that I love.

I've had my truck - Yes - Trunk Monkey - MY TRUCK - up to 90 MPH on the freeway - I only hear the motor purring along. BUT - I've never driven it without the snorkel -it was on it when I purchased the truck. The hundy is one of the quietest rides I've ever had.

I put my safari snorkel on a few months ago and I don't notice any wind noise at highway speeds. Surprisingly enough I get some wind noise at about 35 to 40 mph. Nothing that is annoying at all and to be honest I don't even here it unless I'm listening for it.

The only real noise I get out of the snorkel is all the crazy questions I get at stops signs, gas stations, parking garage, etc...

90? thats it?

If there is a little gap between the snorkel and A-pillar one could put a strip of weatherstriping in there to prevent any whistling.

112 mph is the cut off. This is pretty fun to use on the escalade and tahoe drivers as their limit is at 94.
