Hi-LIft on your 100?

Who's got one? And what and where is it mounted? Pix please!

Just trying to decide if I need to carry even more weight...

On my 80 I'd take the attachment on the top off and slide it under the 2nd row from the cargo area, worked great, perfect fit. Haven't tried it in the 100 yet.

We live in Reno, you don't need to lock everything up, yet.

Slee makes a mount for the factory roof racks.

I live in Brooklyn. I have to cable-tie my light covers on...

Waiting to hear from Christo if the AO Hi-Lift mount locks like the spade mount.

I have it mounted on my AO roof rack.. The AO bracket has a hole on the bolt that holds the Hi-Lift in place so you can fit a lock.. I don't think it would stop someone relatively determined to steal your jack because you are limited to very small locks which are easily breakable.. it should however deter someone who is casually passing by your vehicle from taking your high-lift..

I just use a Master cable lock to lock the Hi-Lift, shovel and spare to the bumper swing arm.

Yes, it uses a big bolt through the bar with a hole drilled in it that you you can put a small padlock through.

It'll be behind the spare tire carrier on the 4x4 Labs bumper when it gets here.

Here are some pics of how I mount the Hi-Lift to my front bumper. You could also get some of the bolt-on ARB antenna brackets and mount those so they point forward and that way you can mount the jack out over the front of the bar as well (This is what I did on my old 80 and it worked great). I have a bike cable-type lock to lock it to the bar if I want.
