2006 without Nav spotted

Strange indeed - never seen one without Nav in the US. I see this one parked all the time in my lot in downtown Seattle but happened to park right next to it the other day - NO NAV!!

Kinda Cool.. makes me think it might be an import or maybe just a custom order?

Good to know when my Nav goes out there will be options...

Sorry for the bad pics - camera phone was all I had.

Oh, and it had LED tail lights and pewter rims, so it was surely a newer model, looked like '06 or '07.

interesting. Doesn't mean that switching to that config would be cheap, though, unfortunately...

Hmmm. I wasn't aware that NAV was an option after like 2002. Thought it was standard fare to have it. Anyway, kinda cool to see something different. I wonder what's the story with the rig not having it ?? I have serious doubts that any aftermkt head unit will fit in there. My NAV has gone out and there really isn't any realistic option other than replacing the reader. There is no way in hell I would try to reverse engineer the A/C controls on a NAV equipped 100 to a non NAV'd one...I don't even want to think about how big of a headache that would be. Basically, if your NAV goes out, you are screwed !!

Nice find. There has to be at least one out there for each model year so Toyota can claim NAV is an option. I just haven't seen (personally) any non-NAV "options" in an LC after 2002.

I have to say I'm extremely happy that I went with the '01 with no nav and no j-gate.
