Wiring Question

I'm in the process of wiring my 2000 UZJ1000 for trailer brakes and noticed a plug in the left rear corner just outside the frame. Plug has twelve spaces but only has six wires. Is this by change a socket for optional tailer wiring? If not eanybody know what this plug is for?

Thanks John

I searched and read the tread but it really talking about the 2003 and later 100 series. I posted in the tread myself. I have a plug with six wires that doesn't plug into anything in the driver's side at the back and wondering what it is. Our 2004 4Runner was simple just wire the brake controller to the factory supplied plug. Plug that in under the dash and your done.
