Mud Crew, i need a shop recommendation in Tucson AZ to do a pre-purchase inspection on a 100 series i'd like to buy and appreciate any help you can provide.

Looking for a good, reputable shop to do mechanical inspection, leak-down, compression, inspection of after-market suspension upgrades and bumpers, frame/body inspection, etc.

obviously a cruiser specialist would be ideal.

I can't recall what Bill's Toys became, but they went over my 60 I bought down there before I drove it home.

2nd Nippon. I broke down in Tucson coming back from Mexico in my old (sigh miss it) 2wd v6 Tacoma when I was living in PHX. Was towing 6000 lb trailer with bro's modded CJ-5 inside. Clutch was on it's way out and this finished it off. Fortunatlly it got me to the hotel with me litterally holding it in 3rd.

Asked the front desk for a referal and they came and got it. They threw in the tow with the repair as well. They quoted $600 (+-) over the phone for a new OEM clutch and they got it in the same day, great service and knowlable mechanics. They came in right at what they quoted without an attempt to upsell anything.
