Removal of Side Cladding on LX
Now that I have some real steal bumpers front and rear, I'd like to get rid of the plastic cladding on the sides of my LX. To me the plastic looks cheap and really does not do anything execept maybe provide door ding, rock chip protection.
I've see photos of a LC without the plastic cladding, but no pictures of an LX. Is it safe to assume that removal of the cladding on my LX will leave me with a few holes that need to be filled, and thats it? Or am I opening up a whole can of worms by removing the cladding? Any suggestions welcome. __________________ 2002 LX 470. ARB Bull Bar, Kaymar rear bumper, powdercoated black wheels, and a .39 cent pine tree air freshener. |
