SOR Tuff Duck Seat Covers

I am looking at some seat covers to better protect the front seats, cover some worn spots on the drivers side and keep from getting burned from hot leather! I don't really want to spend $500 and these look pretty nice for $150. Anyone have experience with them? Do they hold up well? Are they comfortable? I've had good luck with other Specter products, but am unsure about seat covers?

80 series folks like them. Also recommend the GT Covers. Any of them will slide around a bit, but either of those seem to be pretty good.

For what they cost, they are pretty nice... at least they are for the 80. They fade in the sun, but other wise they hold up well. Not sure if the fit is as good on the 100.

Anyone else with advice on seat covers? Any pics of a 100 with the SOR's?

I have a set (grey) in the back seat of my wife's 100 (two car seats = lots of spills) and I really like them, the fit is excellent (tight, actually) and they seem to be holding up really well. The color is a close match.

I also have a set of beige ones on my '99, front seats only, that my wife got me for Xmas. Really nice fit, the color isn't a perfect match but they seem (haven't had them long) to be holding up really well.

Well I finally broke down and ordered a set of the SOR Tuff Duck seat covers. Will post my thoughts once I get them on. I love the leather, but it is getting hot and I hate singing my butt every time I get in! Plus I noticed the leather is getting pretty worn on the drivers seat when I washed and waxed my truck yesterday. I think I cleaned it inside and out better than it was when new! Probably shouldn't say this, but I Armor All'd the tires for the first time ever! Weak moment I guess. Probably won't happen again!

I have a set in my 80. The fitment is great and the material is very durable. It's also nice to be able to throw them in the washing machine. I do not like the comfort aspect...they give a bad case of the swamp ass. They have a poly backing that does great at protecting the leather by keeping moisture off of it. The downside is it doesn't breathe very well.

I put my new SOR Tuff Duck seat covers on a few days ago. Very easy 30 minutes process. So far I really like them. Very durable canvas type material. I also bought the console lid cover. The material is still a little stiff, but will soften and conform better with time. I put them in the sun for about an hour to soften the material. After that you really just slip them on. The toughest part is getting the straps that hold the bottom cushion part under the seat and fastened.

No swamp ass yet, but no long rides so far. However, it was nice nice burning my ass and sweating on hot leather today in the 90 degree heat!!!

I have the same set on my '99 and no swamp butt yet, even in the 20+ days of 100+ heat we're experiencing in Central TX (my front lawn, once lush St. Augustine, looks like Fallujah).

I really like the fit and finish. I have the khaki ones on my '99's front seats (and center console) and the grey ones on my '03's rear seats. Both fit great. Expensive, but so far (9 months on the grey, 6 months on the khaki) they're holding up.
