Just replaced mine two weeks ago.. 10 years and 142,000 miles.

Weak start one day after work.

Didn't realize how slow the starter was spinning until I put the new one in.

No doubt. That is exactly what I thought!

8+ years (mine was born 4/2000) and 83k miles and still going.... seems to start fine abut I would bet that it would spin the starter faster with a new battery. Going campign this weekned... I hope this doesn't come back to bite me while in the woods.

Changed at 80K after 8years.
But, come to think of it, my starter contact had to be replaced a few months later. Had I replaced the starter contacts first, maybe the battery could have gone a few more?
I wonder? I'm so cheap.

Mine lasted about 6 years, replaced with OEM duralast lifetime from the dealer and I'm going on 3 years. All I have to do is return it for a new one once it runs out of juice!

So how long will the Lexus dealer replacement last? I just got a new one free of charge on the LX.

Wondering if I should proactively replace it in two or three years. Normally I proactively replace batteries every five years. Here in TX, they don't seem to last much longer on the best of days.

My Original battery just died, but serves right becuase i had driving lights for over a year on it. always used them... the LC still cranked with 442CCA, which was just enough to get a few turns and crank up, just bout stall out then finally kick in. I'm at 105, and run alot of stuff on my truck. Lights, trail nav systems, backup lights, HID which i dont think pull from the battery. and my truck is usually the light of the trail. so im the one out there the longest. bought mine back in 99.
