Very cool Michael. Would you consider being a dealer for the McNamara gear as well? Just thinking about us poor schleps with the A440 and split case.

If they have quality products, I am always interested. I must confess I have no idea about them never heard of them but I will look into it...promise.

A stocking distributor? This is excellent news to hear! Rodney also sells a nice ATF temp gauge you may want to look into. I've had one for several years on my FJ62 and really like it.

Yes they are a nice temp gauge however it is in C not F I have already had a few people only want F, but if we have a lot of demand I have a great one from autotune (not the junk model but a nice quality one I will offer).

Cheers,

Michael

Since I have had more than a few inquires on the A343F valve body I have some infomation for those interested:

The new valve body has been available for about a year now. Here is more detailed information from Rodney on it:

Toyota Land Cruiser A343F Stage 1 Nomad & Stage 2 Extreme Valve Body
Rodney Hudson-Davies posted at 20/05/2009
Our new "Nomad & Extreme Series" A343F 4 Speed 80-100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser Heavy Duty Valve Body makes all the difference. Often we hear owners constantly complaining about the quality of their 4 Speed Toyota A343F Automatic Transmission when shifting through the gears, most come from everyday drivers who simply can't stand the constant slipping and flaring between the gears. We have had dozens of owners contact us about improving the transmission in some way to overcome the problem. We put together a development program and have come up with a cheap and easy way to turn your A343F 4 Speed Toyota Land Cruiser Automatic Transmissions into a nice crisp shifting transmission without having to remove the transmission from the car, Simply remove the valve body and exchange it for one of our Heavy Duty Recalibrated “Stage 1 Nomad” or “Stage 2 Extreme” Series of A343F Valve Bodies.

The new valve body comes with easy to read instructions for the removal and refitting of the new valve body. The valve body has undergone a tremendous amount of testing including anything from a basic engine upgrade, right up to the Turbo Charged and Super Charged and in every single case the customer has been quite overwhelmed about the difference the New Heavy Duty Valve Body made to the vehicle.

The transmission once fitted with the new Heavy Duty Valve Body can easily handle twice the power and torque while also greatly increasing the cars towing capabilities. All this with nice crisp shift points even while towing. We simply couldn't fault the new Heavy Duty Recalibrated Valve Body no matter what we did to it.

Cheers,

Michael

For all those that have inquired, I have more shipments on the way. Sorry for the few that have to wait, the inventory does not stay long on the shelves (I guess I under estimated the demand).

I should have an ample supply of valve bodies for:

A440F
A442
A343

As well as accessories and a few whole transmissions (A343).

We also have several options for core returnes to make it as easy as possible, you know can put the old valve body back in the shipped package, and just drop it at your local FedEx location, we will deduct the shipping from the core and return the rest. The Same also applies to Transmission Cores.

Cheers,

Michael

McNamara Gear
Here's the gear: IH8MUD.com - View Single Post - ATF getting into transfer, what to do?
Used to remedy this wear on the A440F output shaft: IH8MUD.com - View Single Post - ATF getting into transfer, what to do?

BTW, I have the valve body in my 62 and love it.
