Smile New 4Plus Tacoma Sliders!

Just thought I'd share some photos of the latest sliders that will be made by 4Plus, or MAF Manufacturing. These are the prototypes but he plans on making a production version if there is enough interest. He's built similar-styled sliders for the Landcruisers for years with no complaints! His stuff looks spectacular and is quite functional. If you're interested email: lcwizard@man-a-fre.com

I received some photos of the mounts that were taken during the install. We used two mounts per side, but the production ones will likely only have one long one to make installation more simple. The mounts can be welded or bolted to the frame and then the sliders are bolted to the mounts.

Texx is an unknown quantity at this point
Since this appears to be a for sale ad, may I suggest you post price and location!

I'm not selling anything. I do not work for the company that made these sliders, nor will I receive any compensation for any sales. I'm simply passing on some photos of a new kick-ass product so everyone that is interested can get some too! Don't know the price for production versions, but MAF Manufacturing is located in AZ. But they do ship also.

Only 1st gen Tacomas? Or will they make a set to fit the 2005+ Tacomas as well?

You would need to contact him about new generation Tacomas (email in first post). He hasn't made any yet, but perhaps you could be the first? I'm fairly certain he would need the truck in person to work on though to get the dimensions correct.

Those look stout. I'd get some if I had a Tacoma. Welcome to mud, BTW.

Hey I saw that same slider on a different forum...but not the mounting system for the weld on.
I think that is a great concept for welding on the slider at the frame. It does double duty of holding the slider and increasing the strength of the frame that the slider is mounted on.
That is very cool.
Only thing I am not keen on is the plate that is holding the out-riggers.
To easy to get damaged and collect lots of mud.
It would be better to go traditional square or round tube.
Other than that, real nice design.
